I am part of the blog tour for the book Sweetly Bad by Anya Breton. This book was ok for a short novella about a female mechanic who falls for a disowned playboy witch (yes witch). The characters have good bases but I would have liked to see them be developed more, especially Drew. He seemed to make a miraculous transformation within a day or two which isn’t very realistic! I would like to read other novella’s in the series to tie it all together and to make it all make sense a bit better!

They agree to a one-night stand, but Drews magical secrets are dangerousand catching up to him fast.
I struggled a bit getting into this novella because of some confusion at the beginning with the paranormal aspect which probably could have been left out altogether in this book. I think it fits in more with the first book in the series which I didn’t read because this was advertised as a standalone book.
There could definitely have been less dialogue, more descriptions and less jumping between events. I read this book pretty quickly which was good. I am giving this book 3 stars because I think as with most novella’s you are left wanting more development with the characters and backstory. I hope the series can only improve from here!
